Living in a natural environment and still being close to the city: who wouldn't want that? The architecture firm BNLA architecten was offered the chance to design a dream house on a plot in a former forest, on the water's edge and a stone's throw from the city. With the resulting luxury patio home that blends perfectly into its surroundings

The surroundings were also a leading factor in the choice of materials. Pure and subtle materials were selected, such as patinated copper and elongated bricks with beautiful color shades. The frequent use of wood, both inside and outside, gives the house a warm, soft appearance and at the same time creates a beautiful connection with the garden designed by Janine ten Horn.
